In the context of the national forum on violence against women, New Caledonia wanted to launch a work cycle involving all the actors linked to the issue. This approach was intended to enable New Caledonia to effectively address this social evil.
Our understanding of the issue
STRATEGIC was commissioned to organise, facilitate and monitor this work cycle.
The work were organised in thematic workshops, bringing together more than 250 people from all over the country, including representatives from the associative sector, the medical sphere and the police authorities.
This innovative approach enabled the participants to exchange and construct concrete solutions at grass roots level.
The conclusions were presented on November 23, 2019, at a conference including all the institutions and persons involved.
